MoneySupermarket | Budget Bucket List

I've literally just been tagged by the lovely Rachael from Beauty Pea to enter MoneySupermarket's Budget Bucket List competition and was so excited because it sounds like a pretty fun way to enter a competition. It's based on the film 'The Bucket list' which stars Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. MoneySupermarket want you to write about one 'budget' and one 'extravagant' bucket list item. If you want to find out more then you can have a read here. You talk about what's preventing you from doing these things and what it would mean to you to complete them and then tag 3 others to do the post. So here we go...

I have always been a massive fan of the film The Lion King, which has meant that I have also always wanted to see the musical. However, every time I've been up to London to try and see it something has stopped me. The first time I was about eight years old. The musical was new to London and it was so busy that all of the tickets were sold out. The next time was only a couple of years ago and my friend queued all morning, only to be told that the voucher that he had could not be used on that particular musical. We were students at the time so didn't have a lot of money to spend on the tickets. So, The Lion King musical has been on my bucket list of a while now and it would mean so much to me if I could see it. So many of my friends have seen it and talk about how brilliant it is and I would love to experience that first hand one day.

Ok so...I really do enjoy a bit of shopping and I also love travelling and seeing different places. So if I had an unlimited amount of money I would take my friends around the world...on one giant shopping trip! We would visit all of the big cities like, New York City, London, Paris and stay in beautiful hotels. We would get to travel the world but also go on one massive shopping spree at the same time. If money was no object then we could also fly first class, which is something i've always wanted to try for some reason. Obviously money is stopping me from doing this one in real life, but if I could do it and take my friends with me we would have so much fun, eating at amazing restaurants, visiting different museums and seeing so many amazing sights.

I'm tagging...
I was tagged just now so i'm sorry that it's such late notice as the competition closes tomorrow, but you still have time!

  2. The Lion King is amazing. I saw it twice while I was studying in London last summer, once with my school and then again when my mom came to visit. Maybe you could take the shopping trip after we make billions off our "search the tune on goggle" invention haha xx

  3. I'd love to see the Lion King as well, as it's my absolute favourite Disney film. Also I've only ever seen one musical, but that was just the most amazing thing ever, and I'd love to go again! :-)
